We've been on the run too many days to count.
I've lost track of time from feeling so burnt out.
When will it end?

It could take a while to get my story straight, driving for many miles until I find a way to get where I need to be.
Fill up the car with premium, we're living rich.
Stop inside the store before we have to ditch.
(please don't leave me here)

Go and lock up the van cause we're stopping for a bit and I could use a hand.
Grab the key to the trunk, toss it over to me and let's get this stuff.
Come on lets go, we need to find a new way to live our lives instead of escaping on the thruway.
Robbing others blind to have a good time... I can't continue living with the thoughts on my mind.

This is a cautionary tale... do the right thing, or else the truth will prevail.
In the end anyway, I would get the last word and you'll hear me say I'mma head out.
